Mostafa Shaban is an Egyptian actor, who started his career as a theater director in university, where one of his plays was performed at the Performing Arts festival in France, and it was met with great success. His first acting experience was through In Eloquent Arabic play in 1992, after which he decided to devote himself to acting. His first role was in the film Romantica (1996), but his career kicked off in 2001 through the TV series The Family of Hajj Metwally with the renowned actor Nour El-Sherif, and Youssef Chahine’s film Silence...We're Rolling, as well as Sherif Arafa’s action film Mafia. After that, he started taking lead roles in cinema and television during the 2000s.
